Two OD Experiences This Week

No, not overdoses, Outside Dunwoody experiences. First off let me tell you about a great sandwich and dessert place called Newk's.  Newk's is in Brookhaven, down by the newest Costco in our area. It's a ten to fifteen minute car ride from Dunwoody proper and worth the drive. My favorite sandwich is the Royal Club.  Great placed for lunch and go visit the Costco next door.  The Costco is in DeKalb and less crowded compared to the Perimeter (Fulton County) location.



Next up on the new "go-to" list is Gordon Biersch.They have two locations in Atlanta, the Buckhead location within 15 minutes (unless you go at 5:30 PM down GA 400).  The first thing to mention is they have Hefeweizen on draft.  Hefeweizen is a step above Hoegaarden in my opinion and a new sponsor of DunwoodyTalk..  (Dear Hoegaarden, your sponsorship is available for the summer of 2012, I need one keg of Hoegaarden in payment). All the food and all the beer and all the desserts are great at Gordon Biersch.  I suggest a visit there when you feel the need to OD.
